What is an MDB panel and when is it needed?
An MDB (Main Distribution Board) is the main panel that receives the electrical supply and distributes the main circuits of an installation. It is needed in industrial buildings, shopping centers and new construction projects. We manufacture MDB panels from 63A to 3200A.
Do I need SEC certification for an industrial electrical installation?
Yes. In Chile, all medium and high voltage electrical installations, and industrial low voltage installations above certain limits, must be performed by an installer licensed by the SEC (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles). Provenet has SEC-licensed installers.
How long does it take to manufacture a custom panel?
A standard panel with in-stock components takes 5-10 business days. Panels with PLCs, drives or special components can take 2-4 weeks. We coordinate with your construction schedule.
Do you maintain existing electrical panels?
Yes. We offer preventive maintenance (cleaning, terminal tightening, thermography) and corrective maintenance (component replacement, upgrading). We issue a technical report with recommendations and replace Schneider, ABB or CHINT components as installed.
